Lenovo has unveiled the 2024 Lenovo ThinkBook 14+ and 16+ Ryzen Edition laptops, exclusively launched in China. These cutting-edge devices boast the formidable AMD Ryzen 7 8845H processor, coupled with Radeon 780M integrated graphics, promising unparalleled performance and efficiency for both personal and professional use.

The hallmark of these laptops is their Zen 4 Hawk Point APU, delivering a remarkable 65-watt performance in max mode. Paired with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, users can expect seamless multitasking and smooth operation, with even the base variants equipped with a generous 16 GB of RAM.

Storage capabilities are equally impressive, with all variants offering a spacious 1 TB of storage, ensuring ample space for files, applications, and multimedia content. Furthermore, the inclusion of an 85 Whr battery with rapid charging technology enables users to recharge to 50% in just 30 minutes, enhancing productivity by minimizing downtime.

In terms of connectivity, the ThinkBook 14+ and 16+ laptops feature a comprehensive selection of ports, including USB4, HDMI, Thunderbolt 4 support, Ethernet, and a microSD card reader, catering to diverse connectivity needs.

Differentiating the two models primarily lies in their display specifications. The ThinkBook 14+ Ryzen Edition offers a choice between a 14.5-inch 2.5K display with a 90 Hz refresh rate or a 3K panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, the latter boasting high DCI-P3 coverage ideal for content creation tasks.

Conversely, the ThinkBook 16+ variants feature a spacious 16-inch 2.5K screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, ensuring immersive visuals and fluid motion. Moreover, all screen options are certified with TÜV Low Bluelight and Eyesafe certifications, prioritizing user comfort during extended usage sessions.

Despite their advanced features and premium specifications, Lenovo has managed to keep the pricing competitive, with the Ryzen Edition ThinkBook 14+ starting at CNY4999 (approximately $694) and the 16+ starting at CNY5399 (approximately $750).

While currently available exclusively in China, there is speculation regarding potential global availability, with Lenovo offering AMD Ryzen-powered ThinkBook laptops in other regions. If introduced internationally, these laptops could potentially be rebranded as Gen 7 notebooks, featuring the Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, as the 8845H remains exclusive to the Chinese market.
