Amazon recently unveiled its Q chatbot, aiming to step into the ring with ChatGPT and Copilot, but it seems Q's debut is more sitcom than sci-fi. According to leaked documents obtained by Platformer, the launch of Q has been less of a success and more of a comedy of errors.Sources reveal that some Amazon employees are raising eyebrows, or perhaps more accurately, rolling on the floor laughing, at Q's alleged accuracy and privacy mishaps. In one incident, an employee went so far as to mark a problem as "sev 2", code for a situation serious enough to prompt a heroic night-time intervention and a weekend work extravaganza. Move over Avengers, Q is in town!

The leaked report suggests that Q might have a wild imagination, akin to a chatty daydreamer. Apparently, Q has been known to spill the beans on confidential information, leaving employees frantically searching for the reset button. The document states

"Amazon Q may hallucinate and return harmful or inappropriate responses."

Forget security alarms; Q might just make you spit out your coffee with unexpected answers.

Among the sensitive data allegedly spilled by Q are the locations of AWS data centers, internal discount programs (because who needs a secret sale, anyway?), and even unreleased features. It's like Q turned into the office gossip, but instead of dishing on who has a crush on whom, it spilled the beans on the company's best-kept secrets.

Amazon, in its classic fashion, downplayed the situation with a statement from a spokesperson. The spokesperson reassured everyone, saying, "No security issues were identified as a result of this feedback", as if Q's escapades were just a quirky team-building exercise.

"We appreciate all the feedback we have already received and will continue to refine Q"

the statement reads, conveniently ignoring the collective snickering from employees.

However, the plot thickens, and the spokesperson doubles down, rejecting the claims of leaked confidential information with a bold declaration, "Q did not leak confidential information." It's almost as if Q has become the protagonist in an office drama, vehemently denying any wrongdoing while everyone else shares knowing glances.

As Amazon tries to keep a straight face, it's clear that Q's journey into the world of business chatbots is proving to be more slapstick than strategic. With Q on the scene, one can't help but wonder: is this the future of AI, or just a hilarious glitch in the matrix? Only time will tell, but for now, Amazon employees might want to keep their coffee mugs handy – you never know when Q will drop the next punchline.
