Asus has made a significant stride by unveiling its latest offerings: the Asus NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+. With their pricing now revealed, enthusiasts and professionals alike can delve into the specifications and features of these compact yet powerful systems.

Priced at $394 for the NUC 14 Pro and $869 for the NUC 14 Pro+, these mini PCs may initially appear to be on the higher end of the spectrum. However, a closer look reveals a lineup that stays true to the quality and performance associated with Intel's NUC brand.

It's important to note that Asus took over Intel's NUC brand product line last year, marking a new chapter in the development of these compact computing solutions. The NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+ represent Asus's first foray into this domain and are among the initial systems to feature the latest Intel Meteor Lake chipsets.

The NUC 14 Pro offers configurations with Intel Core 3, Intel Core Ultra 5, and Intel Core Ultra 7 processors. Notably, the Core Ultra variants are equipped with the Intel Arc iGPU and Intel AI Boost technology, catering to users with demanding AI and graphics workloads.

In contrast, the NUC 14 Pro+ emerges as the more potent sibling, boasting configurations up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor.

With options ranging from the Core Ultra 7 155H to the Core Ultra 9 185H, users can tailor the performance of their mini PC to suit their specific requirements.

One distinguishing feature of the NUC 14 Pro+ is its enhanced cooling system, featuring three heat pipes and improved ventilation. This ensures optimal thermal management, even under heavy workloads, further solidifying its appeal to power users and professionals.

Despite the competitive pricing and robust specifications, Asus has yet to announce the availability date for these mini PCs. However, enthusiasts can expect a comprehensive range of options and configurations to meet diverse computing needs once they hit the market.
