Behringer has recently shared an exciting development update on Victor—an oscillator module designed to feature the vector synthesis engine of the upcoming PRO-VS compact synthesizer. This marks a significant step forward for the brand, bringing forth a module that authentically reproduces the original Prophet VS sound engine at an accessible price point for Eurorack enthusiasts.

Key Features of the Victor Oscillator Module

Authentic Reproduction:  Behringer's Victor is a 14HP digital oscillator module that faithfully reproduces the iconic Prophet VS sound engine. This means users can now experience the morphing capabilities of the original Sequential Pro VS in the form of an affordable Eurorack module.

Wavetable Oscillators: The module boasts four wavetable oscillators, each offering a generous selection of 128 waveforms. With four sides, each equipped with an oscillator, users have the ability to explore a vast sonic palette.

Vector Synthesis with Joystick: At the heart of the Victor module lies a joystick, allowing users to seamlessly morph through the four oscillators in real-time, a technique known as vector synthesis. The result is an array of rich and versatile waveforms that can be further visualized through the integrated OLED oscilloscope.

Modulation Options: Victor provides modulation capabilities for both the X and Y axes, complete with dedicated CV inputs. XMOD and YMOD buttons enable users to set the modulation depth of external signals patched through, offering deeper sonic exploration. The module's frequency range can be adjusted up to 7 semitones.

USB-C Connectivity: Keeping an eye on future updates, the Victor module includes a USB-C port for convenient firmware updates and the potential for custom waveforms.
