Blending On-Road Elegance with Off-Road Prowess
In the world of off-road vehicles, aesthetics often take a back seat. However, something new is on the horizon – the all-electric Callum Skye, a vehicle that not only boasts off-road prowess but also flaunts a sleek design suitable for city streets.
Developed by UK-based Callum Designs, the Skye marks the firm's inaugural venture into house-brand vehicles. Founded by Ian Callum, renowned for his work with prestigious automakers like Aston Martin and Jaguar, the company aims to revolutionize the electric vehicle landscape.

At its core, the Skye features an all-wheel-drive system, a robust space frame chassis, trail-ready suspension, and a 2+2 layout within its enclosed cabin. The exterior design is characterized by a captivating accent loop intersected by a robust horizontal structure, flanked by organic forms at both ends. The two doors are adorned with glass in both upper and lower sections, adding a touch of sophistication.
While full technical specifications are yet to be unveiled, preliminary plans indicate that the Skye will be propelled by a 42-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering an impressive range of 170 miles (274 km) per charge. Moreover, an optional ultra-fast-charging battery is expected to recharge from empty to full in a mere 10 minutes.

Measuring 4,047 mm long by 1,900 mm wide, the Skye is designed to strike a balance between on-road maneuverability and off-road capability. With a weight of 1,150 kg distributed in a 50:50 front-to-rear-axle ratio, the vehicle promises dynamic handling. Although details about the motor and top speed remain undisclosed, the Skye is anticipated to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under four seconds.
Ian Callum expressed:
"The Callum Skye is dramatically proportioned with a concise exterior aesthetic driven by its capabilities. It has been designed to exceed expectations: minimal mass, maximum capability – exceptionally usable and an absolute joy to drive."
