Innovations in Design and Customization
CMF by Nothing has officially announced more details about their upcoming smartwatch, the Watch Pro 2. The new wearable was initially spotted in a filing at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) earlier this year. The anticipation grew further when, at the end of June, the company teased the smartwatch in an image on X.
A SHIFT IN DESIGN PHILOSOPHY. The first image unveiled by CMF by Nothing showcases a significant shift from the original model. Unlike its predecessor, the Watch Pro 2 features a round bezel, signaling a departure from the previously rectangular design. The new model also boasts an aluminum alloy body, enhancing its aesthetic appeal and durability.
INNOVATIVE INTERCHANGEABLE BEZELS. Adding to the excitement, a new image posted on X reveals that the Watch Pro 2 will come with interchangeable bezels. The photo depicts a ring being dropped into place, suggesting that these bezels may connect magnetically. While further details on color or material options for these bezels are yet to be disclosed, this feature is poised to offer users a unique level of customization.
CUSTOMIZABLE WATCH FACES. Customization doesn’t stop at the bezels. CMF by Nothing has also showcased various watch faces, giving users the freedom to personalize their smartwatch according to their preferences. This focus on customization highlights the brand’s commitment to user-centric design and innovation.
ADDITIONAL LEAKS AND SPECULATIONS. Further fueling the anticipation, an image of the smartwatch surfaced on Reddit, posted by user u/healerprashanth, allegedly discovered on Flipkart. The images reveal the Watch Pro 2 in silver and matte dark gray casings, paired with orange leather and gray silicone straps. These glimpses suggest a versatile design catering to both formal and casual wear.
AWAITING THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH. The CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2 is slated for launch on July 8th. However, details regarding the full specifications and pricing of the new model are still under wraps.
