Digital Extremes, the renowned developer behind the popular free-to-play MMO Warframe, is gearing up for another milestone in 2024. With the recent announcement of cross-platform save functionality and now the impending launch on iOS, the studio's momentum shows no signs of slowing down.

The anticipation has been steadily building since Warframe became available for pre-order on the Apple App Store. Now, with confirmation from Digital Extremes CEO Steve Sinclair and Warframe Creative Director Rebecca Ford during a recent YouTube livestream, fans can mark their calendars for February 20 as the official launch date for Warframe on iOS. Sinclair assured viewers that the development team is diligently addressing any lingering bugs and conducting thorough testing to ensure a seamless experience upon release.

The decision to incorporate cross-platform save from the outset underscores Digital Extremes' commitment to providing a cohesive gaming experience across all platforms. This feature, announced at the end of January 2024, means that players can seamlessly transition between their iOS devices and other platforms without losing progress—a boon for the game's expansive player base.

Prospective iOS players will need at least iOS 14 or iPadOS 14 and an A12 Bionic SoC to join the action-packed universe of Warframe.
