At Tesla's recent annual shareholder meeting, CEO Elon Musk tantalized attendees with a sneak peek at three new electric vehicles. While Musk withheld detailed information, he assured that the new models are "pretty special". The three vehicles, draped in covers, were showcased alongside Tesla's current lineup. Their silhouettes hinted at exciting additions: a possible van or large SUV and two compact cars.

One of these vehicles is almost certainly the highly anticipated Tesla Robotaxi, which Musk confirmed for an August 8 launch. However, the actual release date remains uncertain, given Tesla's history with ambitious timelines and the ongoing development of Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology. The Robotaxi, along with another upcoming compact Tesla, is expected to share the same platform, suggesting that the two sleek cars under wraps could be the Robotaxi and the affordable Model 2.

The van, rumored since Musk's 2022 hint on Twitter, might be the long-awaited Tesla 'Robovan'. Recent reports of Tesla's discussions with the Italian government about manufacturing electric trucks and vans add weight to this speculation.

Tesla's latest teaser has sparked widespread speculation and excitement within the EV community. As the company continues to innovate and expand its lineup, these new models promise to further Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.
