The OPPO Reno series has garnered recognition for its consistent pursuit of excellence in the realm of smartphone innovation. Drawing parallels to the drip-feeding strategy often associated with flagship iPhones, the series has captivated consumers with its meticulous approach to upgrades and design enhancements. As anticipation mounts for the next iteration, slated for release in 2024, industry insiders have begun unraveling details about what could be in store for users.

Remaining faithful to its legacy of delivering stunning visual experiences, the upcoming Reno 12 series is rumored to maintain the allure of curved 6.7-inch OLED displays across both its standard and Pro variants. However, a notable departure from its predecessor lies in the resolution department, with whispers suggesting a reversion to FHD+ resolutions despite the 11 series' debut with 1.5K panels in certain markets.

One of the most anticipated transformations comes in the form of a processor upgrade. While the Reno 12 Pro is rumored to bid adieu to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in favor of the Dimensity 9200, its vanilla counterpart might herald the arrival of an entirely new chipset, tentatively referred to as the "24M". 

In the realm of photography, OPPO seems poised to raise the bar once again. The Reno 12 and 12 Pro are speculated to embrace dual 50MP rear cameras, with one possibly featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for enhanced stability. Furthermore, the 32MP telephoto shooter of the 11 series might be replaced with a 2x zoom lens, promising improved versatility in capturing distant subjects.

Shifting focus to the front-facing camera, the Reno 12 series is rumored to introduce a groundbreaking upgrade in the form of a new 50MP punch-hole shooter, poised to outshine its predecessor's "Ultra-Clear Selfie Camera". This advancement promises to elevate the selfie-taking experience to unprecedented heights, capturing every detail with stunning clarity and precision.

Despite the anticipated enhancements, pricing projections indicate a commitment to affordability. The Reno 12 is expected to debut at approximately $499, equipped with 12GB of RAM, while its Pro counterpart might follow suit at around $799, offering users a premium experience at a competitive price point.
