The release of Beta Version 16.16 marks an important milestone for Garmin users, particularly those enrolled in the Garmin Beta Program. This update replaces the previous Version 16.13, underscoring Garmin's commitment to continuous improvement and addressing user feedback promptly.

Among the key changes introduced in Beta Version 16.16 are enhancements to the user interface, including fixes for issues such as incomplete animations of the Lap Discarded banner and the absence of multisport messages in the settings menu. Additionally, users will benefit from improvements related to activity tracking, with fixes for missing jump rope reps in the activity history page and the generation of personal records for swimming activities.

Moreover, Beta Version 16.16 includes updates to GPS and Sensor Hub firmwares, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of location tracking and sensor data processing. Despite Garmin's claim of new wireless software inclusion, users may find that this aspect remains unchanged in the update.

The comprehensive changelog for Beta Version 16.16 highlights Garmin's dedication to addressing various issues reported by users, ranging from minor UI glitches to potential system crashes:
