Plaintiff Jennifer Hyatt's legal action against Google sheds light on what could potentially be a widespread issue affecting consumers.

According to a report by Law360, Jennifer Hyatt has taken legal action against Google, asserting that the Pixel 6 Pro she purchased suffered from an overheating defect. What makes this case particularly troubling is Hyatt's claim that she received multiple replacement devices, all exhibiting the same flaw. This pattern suggests, according to the lawsuit, that Google may have been aware of the issue prior to distributing the handsets to consumers.

Central to the plaintiff's argument is the assertion that Google failed to disclose the overheating problem, knowingly putting consumers at risk. Hyatt contends that Google should have provided adequate warnings or taken measures to rectify the situation, such as issuing a product recall.
