According to a recent report from Bloomberg, the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) may soon be officially unveiled by Rockstar Games. The news organization suggests that the game developer is gearing up to make a big announcement as early as this week. GTA VI, the next installment in the immensely popular Grand Theft Auto franchise, has been a subject of intense speculation among gaming enthusiasts.

In addition to the announcement, Rockstar Games is purportedly planning to mark its 25th-anniversary celebration with the release of a trailer for GTA VI next month. The prospect of this upcoming release has sent waves of excitement throughout the gaming community, as the anticipation for this title has been steadily growing.

GTA V, the fifth main installment in the series, was a massive success and remains the second-best selling video game of all time, as highlighted by Bloomberg. Remarkably, GTA V made its debut in 2013, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the saga.

A hacker uploaded 90 seconds of gameplay from a GTA VI test build, showcasing one of the two playable protagonists, a character known as Lucia, engaging in a store robbery. Another clip displayed the other playable character riding the "Vice City Metro," strongly indicating that the game's storyline is set in Rockstar's fictionalized rendition of Miami. The developer acknowledged the leak but assured fans that the game's development would proceed "as planned."

As anticipation continues to build, many are eager to learn more about the release period for GTA VI.
