During the 2024 Huawei Cloud & Huawei Cloud Innovation Summit, Zhang Ping'an, Managing Director of Huawei and CEO of Huawei Cloud, illuminated a new era in technology ecosystem development, aimed at furnishing Chinese application developers and innovators with robust technical infrastructure.

Reports indicate a monumental milestone as of the dawn of 2024, with the proliferation of HarmonyOS ecological devices soaring to an unprecedented 800 million. This expansive ecosystem encompasses a diverse array of devices including mobile phones, PCs, tablets, smart screens, and automobiles, marking a significant leap forward for high-frequency terminal devices.

What's more, thousands of companies and institutions have embarked on the journey of developing HarmonyOS native applications, with notable mentions including industry giants like Alipay, Taobao, Meituan, JD.com, DingTalk, Amap, and Xiaohongshu.

Zhu Yonggang, President of Huawei Cloud, shared an exciting roadmap, revealing plans for the release of the commercial version of HarmonyOS NEXT for consumers in the fourth quarter of the year. This strategic move underscores Huawei's commitment to bolstering enterprises and institutions in the creation of over 5,000 HarmonyOS native applications by year-end.
