Intel has set the tech world abuzz with the revelation of its latest mobile processor, the Intel Core i9-14900HX. The processor, part of the Raptor Lake Refresh lineup, promises to deliver unprecedented performance in the laptop segment, holding the torch for Intel's mobile technology until the anticipated arrival of Meteor Lake.The Core i9-14900HX, recently spotted in the Geekbench database, showcases impressive specifications. Boasting 24 cores and 32 threads, the processor operates at a maximum clock speed of 5.76 GHz, making it a formidable contender in the mobile CPU arena. With a thermal design power (TDP) of 55W, the 14900HX is poised to offer a significant leap in performance, setting new standards for mobile processors.

The Geekbench scores for the Core i9-14900HX are nothing short of extraordinary. Tested on an Acer Predator system paired with an RTX 4080, the processor achieved a Single Core score of 2,998 and a Multi-Core score of 17,937 using Geekbench 6.2.1. These scores solidify its position as a front-runner in the current market, providing users with unparalleled computing power for their mobile devices.

It's important to note that the Core i9-14900HX represents a notable advancement over its predecessor, the 13900HX. While the performance difference between the two is in the range of 2 to 4%, the 14900HX belongs to a different class of CPU, showcasing Intel's commitment to continuous innovation. The 13900HX, released later, improved frequencies and overall performance compared to the 13980HX, highlighting Intel's dedication to refining its mobile processors.
