The iPhone 14 and 15, maintaining a 12-megapixel front-facing camera with five plastic lens elements, pave the way for the iPhone 16 lineup, expected to adopt the same hardware configuration. However, it's the iPhone 17 that steals the spotlight, promising a substantial upgrade to a 24-megapixel camera equipped with a six-element lens, a move expected to revolutionize the way users capture and experience their moments.

The leap to 24 megapixels is particularly noteworthy, promising users greater detail and clarity in their photos. This upgrade opens up possibilities for maintaining image quality even when cropped or zoomed in, providing photographers with unprecedented flexibility during post-processing.
