Recently, 91mobiles provided enthusiasts with a tantalizing glimpse into the future by publishing CAD schematics purportedly belonging to one of Apple's upcoming devices - the iPhone 16 Pro. This revelation has sparked considerable interest and speculation among tech enthusiasts and industry analysts alike.

According to the disclosed schematics, the iPhone 16 Pro is set to inherit the mantle from its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro, ushering in a new era of innovation and design evolution. Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro is slated to feature a slightly larger form factor compared to its predecessor, with dimensions measuring 149.6 x 71.4 x 8.4 mm. This strategic decision by Apple to increase the device's size is primarily aimed at accommodating a more expansive display, rumored to span 6.3 inches - a notable departure from its predecessor's dimensions.

Despite the increase in size, the iPhone 16 Pro is poised to maintain a competitive edge by remaining smaller than rival offerings such as the Google Pixel 8 and its successor, the Pixel 9. This strategic positioning underscores Apple's commitment to delivering a sleek and ergonomic device without compromising on screen real estate or usability.

Furthermore, the CAD schematics hint at several design elements that are set to define the aesthetic and functionality of the iPhone 16 Pro. Retaining the signature flat edges and dynamic island characteristic of its predecessor, the device is expected to boast a triple-camera setup augmented by a LiDAR sensor, ensuring unparalleled photography and augmented reality capabilities.

However, perhaps the most intriguing revelation from the schematics is the inclusion of an additional hardware button, speculated to be a "capture button". 

This touch-sensitive button is purported to serve as a multifunctional tool, functioning not only as a camera shutter but also potentially incorporating a zoom slider feature. Such innovations demonstrate Apple's relentless pursuit of enhancing user experience and pushing the boundaries of smartphone photography and videography.
