Microsoft has broadened the accessibility of Copilot for Microsoft 365, extending its innovative generative AI features beyond large enterprises to encompass businesses of all sizes. Originally launched in November 2023 for Microsoft 365 Enterprise customers subscribed to E3 and E5 enterprise plans, Copilot is now available for users of Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Business Standard plans.

Microsoft has also removed the previous requirement of a 300-seat minimum for Copilot integration.
