Intel's highly anticipated Meteor Lake CPUs are set to make their debut not only in laptops but also on desktops, ushering in a new era of computing power. The Blue Team processors are poised to take the global stage, with major manufacturers gearing up to showcase their innovations. Today, a prominent player appears to have spilled the beans on the upcoming Meteor Lake laptops slated for an early 2024 release.
MSI is poised to take the lead by launching the Prestige AI EVO, marking the company's first foray into the Meteor Lake CPU arena. This cutting-edge device, available in two configurations featuring the Core Ultra 7 155H and Core Ultra 5 125H, will leverage the VPU of the Meteor Lake processors, enabling seamless execution of AI applications. Notably, MSI has chosen to emphasize the AI capabilities in the nomenclature of their new laptop.
The MSI Prestige AI EVO boasts two CPU configurations and variable screen sizes, offering options of 16" or 13". With a starting price of $1,049, these high-end PCs with next-gen processors are positioned to be accessible to a broad user base. For just over a thousand dollars, American consumers can acquire the 13.6" MSI Prestige AI EVO, featuring the Core Ultra 5 125H, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 512 GB SSD.
Furthermore, the variant with the Core Ultra 7 155H, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB storage, and a 13.6" screen will be available at $1,299, while the top-tier model, equipped with the Core Ultra 7, 32 GB of RAM, 2 TB of SSD, and a 16" screen, will hit the market at $1,649. Each version of the laptop will feature an OLED screen with QHD resolution, LPDDR5-6400 RAM, integrated Intel Arc graphics, and compatibility with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
