Nord has recently unveiled the Nord Grand 2, a stage piano set to redefine the standards of performance and sound quality.

Building on the success of its predecessor, the Grand 2 introduces advancements in both keybed technology and onboard sounds, promising musicians an unparalleled playing experience. Nord Grand 2 Piano Dual Layer

At the heart of the Grand 2 lies the latest generation Kawai Hammer Action keybed, offering a responsive feel akin to an acoustic grand piano. The instrument boasts two independent layers, housing an extensive range of grand, upright, and electric piano sounds meticulously sampled from the Nord Piano Library. Advanced features like Advanced String Resonance, Dynamic Pedal Noise, and the addition of Dynamic Compression and Unison contribute to a heightened sense of realism.

The dual layers can be seamlessly combined or split across the keyboard, providing musicians with a versatile palette of sounds.

LED lights indicate up to seven split points, and a Split Point Crossfade feature adds a new dimension to transitioning between zones.

Synth Capabilities

The Grand 2's synth section is equally impressive, featuring two independent Sample Synth layers that offer a diverse array of sounds, from sampled strings to classic analog synth leads. With controls for attack, decay/release, and dynamic velocity response, musicians can sculpt their tones with precision. The addition of features like Unison and Tru-Vibrato further expands the sonic possibilities, ensuring a rich and expressive playing experience.

Effects Section
