Today, tech enthusiasts around the world eagerly anticipate the global launch of OnePlus's latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12. The much-anticipated event will not only reveal the global pricing for the OnePlus 12 but also introduce two companion devices: the OnePlus 12R, a more affordable alternative, and the next-generation true wireless earbuds, OnePlus Buds 3.

Global Launch Venue: India's Stage for OnePlus 12 Extravaganza

OnePlus has strategically chosen India as the venue for the in-person global launch event, reinforcing the country's significance in the tech market. For those unable to attend, the event can be experienced via a live stream on YouTube, commencing at 9 AM ET (7:30 PM IST) on January 23.

OnePlus 12: Defining Premium with Cutting-Edge Features

The OnePlus 12 boasts the hallmarks of a flagship device, featuring the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. A substantial upgrade in battery capacity is evident, with a 5,400mAh battery accompanied by 100W wired charging.

In addition to the OnePlus 12, OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 12R, previously introduced in China as the OnePlus Ace 3. This budget-friendly alternative promises a 1.5K OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, a 5,500mAh battery, and 100W wired charging.

Camera enthusiasts need not compromise with the OnePlus 12R, as it features a 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and 2MP macro shooters. Priced at $499 for the 8GB/128GB model, the OnePlus 12R competes directly with devices such as the Pixel 7a and Galaxy A54 5G, offering a superior processor at an attractive price point.

OnePlus Buds 3: Elevating the Audio Experience

Completing the trio, OnePlus will unveil the Buds 3 at the global launch event. These true wireless earbuds promise adaptive noise cancellation, Hi-Res audio with LHDC 5.0, an impressive 44 hours of playback, and quick charging capabilities (7 hours on a 10-minute charge).
