Elevating Viewing Experience with Cutting-edge Technology and Immersive Audio
Philips has recently unveiled its latest addition to the 2024 TV range, the OLED+959 Ambilight TV.
Powering the OLED+959 is the advanced 8th Gen P5 AI Dual Engine processor, incorporating Ambient Intelligence V3 for superior HDR performance in brighter environments and enhanced contrast. The AI Machine Sharpness V2 tool elevates image clarity, rendering a more realistic and detailed visual experience. The META Multi Booster algorithm plays a crucial role in achieving the TV's maximum brightness of 3,000 nits.
Running on the Google OS, the Philips OLED+959 offers Matter and Control4 Smart Home compatibility, ensuring seamless integration into smart home ecosystems. Gamers will appreciate the substantial reduction in latency, dropping from 200ms in older models to an impressive 40ms. The addition of a Game Bar provides easy access to settings, enhancing the gaming experience. The TV also supports MEMC, 144Hz VRR, and Dolby Vision Gaming for an immersive gaming session.
A significant point of departure between the OLED+959 and the OLED+909 lies in the audio experience. The OLED+959 features an integrated 102W 5.1.2ch sound system from Bowers & Wilkins, offering a more immersive audio experience compared to the 3.1ch speakers in the OLED+909. Additionally, the OLED+959 boasts a large floor stand made from a combination of aluminum and steel, adding a touch of elegance to its design.
Scheduled for release in Q3 with a 65-inch screen, the Philips OLED+959 Ambilight TV promises to redefine home entertainment. The question remains whether the company will introduce other size variants and the anticipated cost of this cutting-edge TV model. With its innovative features and top-notch technology, the OLED+959 sets a new standard for premium home entertainment in 2024.
