New Evnia 34M2C6500 Offers High-End Features at a Lower Price Point
Philips has recently introduced the Evnia 34M2C6500, a new curved gaming monitor featuring a Samsung Display-derived QD-OLED panel. This release is part of Philips' strategy to provide cost-effective alternatives to its high-end monitors, following the launch of the Evnia 49M2C8900L, a more affordable version of the existing Evnia 49M2C8900.
The Evnia 34M2C6500 is positioned as a budget-friendly option compared to the Evnia 34M2C8600, which Philips released over a year ago. Despite the lower price, the new model retains many of the advanced specifications of its predecessor. Priced at £699.99 in the UK and €869 in the Eurozone, the Evnia 34M2C6500 operates natively at a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels with a refresh rate of 175 Hz. It also features a 21:9 aspect ratio, 1800R curvature, and VESA Adaptive Sync support.
In terms of brightness, the monitor peaks at 1,000 nits with HDR content and 250 nits in SDR mode. It is believed that Philips has used the same Gen 1 QD-OLED panel in both the Evnia 34M2C6500 and the Evnia 34M2C8600.
The Evnia 34M2C6500 also comes equipped with Ambiglow LEDs for an enhanced visual experience and an adjustable stand for ergonomic comfort. The monitor includes a variety of connectivity options:
With its competitive pricing and high-end features, the Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 is poised to be an attractive option for gamers looking for performance and value.
