Rhodes has introduced its latest addition to the V Series lineup – the V-Rack, a comprehensive multi-effects plugin designed to elevate the sonic capabilities of digital audio workstations (DAWs) for both studio and live environments.

The V-Rack stands out with its incorporation of seven distinct effects modules, meticulously capturing the analog charm of Rhodes' MK8 piano. This innovative plugin empowers users with unparalleled flexibility, boasting an advanced feature set achievable only in this digital format. Users can seamlessly blend the seven stereo analog effects in any combination, applying them to various sound sources within their DAW productions. Moreover, the V-Rack facilitates on-the-fly processing of instruments during live performances, making it a versatile tool for musicians, composers, engineers, and producers alike.

Among the standout features are three drive modes (MK8, Saturation, and Overdrive), a resonant 3-band parametric EQ/multimode filter, vari-pan circuit with preset waveshapes, VCA compressor, VCA 4-stage phaser, bucket brigade chorus, and bucket brigade delay with tap tempo and BPM sync. This comprehensive suite offers a diverse range of sonic possibilities, enabling users to shape and enhance their audio creatively.

For instance, the VCA compressor offers attack, threshold, and release faders, along with a side chain input for dynamic mix control. The parametric EQ features selectable center frequencies and a multimode filter for versatile sound sculpting.
