Roland Cloud has just launched GALAXIAS, a groundbreaking VST synthesizer that promises to redefine the soundscapes available to music producers. Dubbed a 'Super Instrument' by Roland, GALAXIAS is exclusively available to Roland Cloud subscribers and is compatible with macOS and Windows operating systems. Although initially released as a standalone application, it will later become available as a VST3/AU plugin, opening up a world of sonic possibilities.

GALAXIAS consolidates over 20,000 sounds for Roland Cloud subscribers, showcasing iconic synths like the JUPITER-8, TR-808, JD-800, and more. Additionally, it incorporates Zenology-based instruments and the SYSTEM-8 synth, offering a comprehensive selection for users to explore.

One standout feature of GALAXIAS is its ability to layer up to four instruments, allowing users to create Scenes that can be organized into set lists for seamless live performances. The synthesizer boasts two insert effects per layer, two global send effects, and the option to route layers to external destinations, providing an extensive range of sound manipulation possibilities.

The user interface is designed for intuitive navigation, with full-screen modes enabling focused editing of Scenes, instruments, or effects. This design ensures a user-friendly experience for both novice and experienced producers.

GALAXIAS is currently accessible to all Roland Cloud Ultimate members. Existing subscribers can find it in the Roland Cloud Manager, while non-subscribers can experience GALAXIAS and other Roland Cloud features through a 30-day free Ultimate trial.

Ensure all Roland Cloud instruments are updated to the latest versions to ensure compatibility with GALAXIAS. Notably, GALAXIAS does not support macOS 10, providing an extra nudge for users to update their operating systems.
