Despite the cessation of major Android updates, Samsung has released a new update for its Galaxy S20 series. The deployment of the February 2024 security patch marks another step in Samsung's commitment to ensuring the safety and security of its users.

The rollout of the latest security patch, firmware version G98xUSQS8HWK1, has commenced in the United States, with a primary focus on network-locked devices. While initially targeted at carrier-locked handsets, Samsung assures that the update will soon extend to other regions and non-carrier variants of the Galaxy S20 series.
