As the highly anticipated launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series approaches on January 17, the rumor mill is buzzing with leaked information regarding the pricing of these flagship devices. The latest revelation comes from an observant user named Spynox, who stumbled upon a French-language document outlining rules for a Galaxy S24 series competition. This document not only sheds light on the competition's structure but also provides apparent pricing details for each phone in the upcoming series.

The discovery of this leak can be credited to Roland Quandt, a journalist from WinFuture, who managed to spot the document's URL before it was made private. Thanks to Google's web cache, the document is still accessible, allowing enthusiasts and tech aficionados a sneak peek into the potential pricing of the Galaxy S24 series.

According to the leaked information, the base model of the Galaxy S24 is priced at €899 / $981. Moving up the ladder, the Galaxy S24 Plus is listed at €1,169 / $1,276, while the top-tier Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with a price tag of €1,469 / $1,603. These figures present a mix of confirmation and discrepancy when compared to previous leaks. The base model's quoted price aligns with a recent leak from GalaxyClub, providing a degree of validation to the leaked information. However, the listed prices for the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra are €20 more than what was previously speculated. It's worth noting that such minor discrepancies in pricing are not uncommon across various European countries.

In terms of the European market, these leaked prices suggest a €50 reduction for both the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus when compared to their predecessors, the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus. This potential drop in price could be a strategic move by Samsung, especially after the company raised the prices of the S23 series in most regions, excluding the United States. However, the Galaxy S24 Ultra seems to be taking a different trajectory, with an apparent €70 increase in its launch price compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This unexpected hike may raise eyebrows among consumers, and only time will tell whether the added features and improvements justify the higher cost.

As the launch date approaches, Samsung enthusiasts and tech enthusiasts alike eagerly await the official confirmation of these pricing details. Will the Galaxy S24 series live up to the expectations set by its predecessors, and how will the market respond to the potential price differentials? Only January 17 will provide the answers to these questions, as Samsung officially unveils its latest flagship smartphones to the world.
