The Long-Awaited Flagship Earbuds Are On The Horizon
Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its highly anticipated Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in the upcoming year, as reported by Sam Mobile. The reputed source suggests that Samsung is poised to introduce the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro as a premium addition to its extensive audio product line up.
This revelation follows a year-long hiatus since the release of Samsung's last flagship earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, in late 2022. Samsung had previously adhered to an 18-month release cycle for earbuds, with the original Galaxy Buds Pro making their debut in early 2021. Although the anticipated launch window technically falls in January, sources indicate a probable unveiling alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 5.
Despite the absence of a new flagship, Samsung has not been dormant in the audio product space. Last month saw the introduction of the $99 Galaxy Buds FE, which revives some of the standout features from the 2020 Galaxy Buds+. However, in the high-end segment where cutting-edge features often debut, Samsung has maintained a low profile. Meanwhile, competitors like Google and Apple have been actively enhancing their offerings, with Google refining the Pixel Buds Pro and Apple releasing an updated version of the AirPods Pro featuring USB-C and other improvements.
While details about the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro remain shrouded in mystery, the prospect of a sequel has generated significant anticipation.
