The Game Awards 2023 nominations have been unveiled, and it's a showdown between two standout titles: Baldur's Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2. Both games are poised for success with an impressive eight nominations each, including coveted categories such as Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, and Best Narrative.

Nintendo emerges as the front-runner among publishers with a whopping 15 nominations, closely followed by Sony with 13, and Xbox with 10 nominations.

The Best Adaptation category adds a cinematic flair to the awards, featuring HBO's The Last of Us, Netflix's Castlevania: Nocturne, Sony's Twisted Metal series and Gran Turismo film, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie. The anticipation is high for these adaptations to make their mark.

Content Creator of the Year is a fierce battle among PeopleMakeGames, co-founded by former Eurogamer alumnus Chris Bratt, IronMouse, Quackity, Spreen, and SypherPK. May the best creator take the spotlight!
