OnePlus has officially announced the global release of its latest flagship device, the OnePlus 12. Having made its debut in China, the OnePlus 12 is set to hit the US market, with preorders now open and open sales scheduled to commence on February 7. While the pricing details are yet to be revealed, expectations are high, given the success of its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, which launched at $699/$799, depending on the specifications.

The OnePlus 12 comes in two configurations - the base model with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, and a higher-spec variant boasting 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM. Both models are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, ensuring lightning-fast performance. The device features a triple-camera setup on the rear, with Hasselblad branding, including a 64-megapixel sensor offering 3x optical zoom. The 12R features pared-back specs, including the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a slightly larger 5,500-mAh battery, and 80W fast charging. Although specific pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the 12R is expected to offer a compelling alternative for users prioritizing all-round performance at a more affordable price point.
