Mark Zuckerberg's pursuit of integrating Meta AI into WhatsApp has been no secret. In a September revelation, Meta unveiled its ambitions to introduce an AI-powered chatbot to the messaging platform.

The latest development, as discovered by WABetaInfo, centers around a charming button nestled within WhatsApp, providing users with a swift avenue to launch the AI chat with a mere tap. 

Located prominently in the Chats tab, the new AI button conspicuously sits above the familiar green "Start a New Chat" icon. A departure from its earlier discreet placement within users' contact lists, this multicolored shortcut promises increased visibility, ensuring users can't overlook its presence.

Upon tapping the novel shortcut, users are catapulted into an engaging encounter with an AI-powered chatbot. Crafted to deliver companionship, personalized advice, and entertaining interactions, this innovative feature is currently in preview. Those eager to explore it can do so by downloading the latest WhatsApp beta from the Google Play Store. While still in beta, the arrival of WhatsApp's new AI chatbot seems imminent.
