Delving deeper, users can seamlessly integrate block quotes by harnessing the Greater Than arrow on their keyboards. Even inline code is not spared from enhancement, as a mere press of the accent symbol, followed by a space, transforms mundane text into sleek code snippets. The result? With these additions, WhatsApp now boasts a diverse arsenal of eight formatting options, including the classics such as bold, italic, strikethrough, and monospace, reminiscent of its previous iterations. The disparity between platforms raises questions, particularly considering the extensive development timeline dating back to August 2023. The conspicuous absence of these features on the Windows version prompts speculation and curiosity.
