The Little Rascal xAI Bot Just Found a Seat Next To The Driver
As we previously seen Elon Musk's new AI venture, xAI, has birthed Grok, an artificial intelligence system set to inject character and a rebellious spirit into Tesla's lineup. Unlike traditional chatbots found in vehicles like Mercedes-Benz, Grok, according to xAI, is designed to respond "with a bit of wit and has a rebellious streak". Users are warned against activating the system if they're humor-averse.
"Grok is an AI modeled after the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, intended to answer almost anything and, even more challenging, suggest what questions to ask!"
Elon Mush recently said in an X post that the system will draw data from X, formerly Twitter, to cultivate its unique personality. It's set to handle "spicy questions," possibly pushing the boundaries beyond what conventional AI, like ChatGPT in Stellantis brands, is comfortable addressing.
Tesla's penchant for rebellious innovation is well-documented, the company consistently defies norms. Elon Musk envisions integrating Grok AI into the upcoming Robotaxi, enabling passengers to engage with autonomous ride-hailing cars equipped with a personality that reflects Tesla's unconventional spirit.
Despite the intriguing prospects, Tesla remains tight-lipped about the exact rollout of Grok AI across its electric vehicle lineup. xAI hints at an early beta version, with gradual expansion expected in the coming weeks. As the AI becomes available to select X users, Tesla owners are urged to utilize Grok not just for humor but also for promoting road safety in their AI-assisted journeys.
