A new leak has surfaced, offering early insights into Xiaomi's upcoming offerings, the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro, months ahead of their anticipated debuts. This leak not only reveals model numbers and codenames but also sheds light on the features that these devices are expected to bring to the table.

The Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro are positioned to be Xiaomi's sub-premium devices tailored for the global market. While their official unveiling is still months away, details about these devices have surfaced, courtesy of the company's own HyperOS code.

According to reports from Android Headlines, the Xiaomi 14T Pro, internally referred to as "rothko", will carry the model numbers "2407FPN8EG" and "2407FPN8ER," indicating its availability in the global market and Japan, respectively. However, an Indian launch is not on the horizon for this model. On the other hand, the standard Xiaomi 14T, with the codename "Degas", is identified with the model number "2406APNFAG."

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is speculated to be a rebrand of the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra and is rumored to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. Notably, it is expected to boast wireless charging capabilities, a telephoto camera, and even bear the prestigious Leica branding, reminiscent of last year's Xiaomi 13T Pro. Reports suggest that both the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro may share similar camera hardware, although the specific System-on-Chip (SoC) for the standard model remains undisclosed at this time.

This leak provides tech enthusiasts and potential buyers with a glimpse into Xiaomi's strategic moves in the smartphone market, particularly in the sub-premium segment.
