Garmin smartwatch users can now enjoy YouTube Music directly from their wearables, fulfilling a frequently requested feature by enthusiasts. Joining the ranks of other prominent music and podcast services like Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon Music, YouTube Music brings an expansive library and unique offerings to Garmin devices.

YouTube Music boasts access to over 100 million songs, with a wealth of exclusive live recordings and remixes, according to Google. The app features a variety of curated playlists, automatically generated playlists tailored to individual tastes, and dedicated activity mixes to enhance workout experiences. Users can organize their favorite tracks in a Library, where liked and added songs are easily accessible. Subscribers to YouTube Music Premium or YouTube Premium can benefit from the ability to download playlists and podcasts directly to their watches, allowing for offline listening without the need for a phone. However, non-subscribers will encounter ads during their listening sessions.

The app supports a wide range of Garmin models, including popular ones such as the Forerunner 255 Music, Fenix 7, Instinct 2, and Venu 3.
