In a market dominated by premium foldable smartphones, ZTE's latest offering, the Libero Flip, emerges as a cost-effective alternative without compromising on features or functionality. With a sleek design and impressive specifications, the Libero Flip presents itself as a compelling option for consumers seeking innovation without breaking the bank.

At the heart of the Libero Flip lies its foldable 6.9-inch AMOLED display, boasting a resolution of 2,790 x 1,188 pixels. This expansive screen provides ample real estate for immersive multimedia experiences, whether it's watching videos, browsing the web, or multitasking with multiple apps. Additionally, the device features a convenient 1.43-inch AMOLED panel on the exterior, serving as a versatile tool for camera previews, widgets display, and quick access to essential functions like a stopwatch or music playback control.

Equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera capable of recording 4K videos and a 16-megapixel selfie camera housed within a central punch-hole, the Libero Flip ensures users can capture stunning photos and videos with ease. Moreover, the innovative hinge design allows the display to be partially opened, transforming the device into a makeshift tripod for stable photography and videography.

Under the hood, the Libero Flip packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, featuring a combination of four ARM Cortex-A710 performance cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores running at 1.8 GHz.

This powerful chipset delivers smooth performance and efficient multitasking, ensuring a seamless user experience across various applications and tasks.

Despite its compact form factor, ZTE hasn't compromised on battery capacity, integrating a sizable 4,310 mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 33 watts via USB-C. This ensures users can stay connected and productive throughout the day without constantly worrying about battery life. However, it's worth noting that the device carries an IP4X certification, making it resistant to dust but not water, so users should exercise caution in wet environments.

The ZTE Libero Flip is set to launch in Japan on February 29, 2024, with an introductory price of 39,800 yen (approximately €246) after a launch discount, and a recommended retail price of 63,000 yen (approximately €389).

Available with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, the device offers ample space for storing apps, media, and files.
